Word Art

Hi there, Bethiney here!  This end of year  has been crazy but room 6 has done some word art . A few week's before room 6 had to make box's and class mates had to say nice things about a person and put it in their box.  We used these words to create a piece of word art.

WHY WE NEED HEADPHONES !!!!!!

We Need Headphones!  By Bethiney     

First reason why we need headphones, is when we all listen to the music without headphones so many class members will disagree with some of the music and that will cause arguments.   

Second reason why class members need headphones is when we do Reading Plus we can block out the noise from the background.  If we do not have headphones we will get really poor results.
Third reason why we need headphones is if we are doing any  quiet activities, it will block noise from outside that the little kids are making.
Fourth reason why class members should have music in the classroom is so they can enjoy their hard working day at school.
Fifth reason why we need headphones is so we can give the teacher some quiet time from us loud kids.


I Strongly believe  so many classroom members should have headphones, there is a benefit for them.  
Keep the headphones!

Refugee

   In class room 6 has been reading Refugee by Alan Gratz. There are three charters at the moment, we have been reading about Mahmoud and his mother.   They were leaving Turkey to go to Germany and their boat crashed into rocks.

As i go behind room six  i come to some mats i hear some music
I have to Dancing. I’m Waving my arms around like a chimpanzee that's trying to dance.

I am embarrassed. Jo or Lisa are taking some photos of me, now i'm really  embarrassed!

Hirohito Hill

I made my own version of Hirohito Hill, from the book 'Posted' by John David Anderson.    I made sure that my hill  slope was less than 50 degrees.  Next time I could add more detail to the picture.   

About Me

The book

    In the holidays i have been reading this book now and then.

In class we have been reading a book called 'The Real Thing'. It is about coca cola. We had a taste of it to see what the characters felt when they had a drink.  We were learning to put how we felt in a sentence, writing in the present tense.
Next time I will write about what it looks like.
